In the mindfulness club, students will learn and practice strategies to increase mindful attention. Students will learn the meaning of mindfulness, as well as strategies that will help them to experience the present moment, get control of their bodies and minds and learn how to utilize proven techniques for managing stress. These strategies will enable students to recognize their own strengths, and use those strengths to face challenges. We will complete some hands-on projects, and students will create their own mindfulness handbook. The club will meet on the following Fridays from 3:15 - 4:00 in room 157
