About Us
Welcome Pelhamites! We are teaming up to create a more sustainable town, in both the Village of Pelham and the Village of Pelham Manor, NY. The Environmental Coalition of the Pelhams (EcoPel), established in 2013, is a grassroots, not-for-profit (501c3) organization that aims to serve as the umbrella body for all interested groups within the villages of Pelham and Pelham Manor that have environmental goals. EcoPel aims to educate and inform the community, as well as to provide resources that will aid in environmental initiatives that directly benefit the Pelhams. The various groups under EcoPel’s umbrella strive to affect change in awareness and practice, as well as policy at the local level, that will result in a cleaner and greener environment for all to enjoy.
