It requires owners of residential rental properties (2+ units) built before 1980 in identified "communities of concern"  (excluding NYC) to certify their units are free of lead-based paint hazards every three years.Property owners of buildings with 2 or more units in the 10801 zip code, received letters with instructions to register their property for the NYS Rental Registry. Many are voicing difficulties with registration. Registration is requested. About the Performers:  American pianist Robert Brooks Carlson began playing piano at the age of eight. Currently, Robert resides in New York City where he is a Doctor of Musical Arts student at the CUNY Graduate Center and serves as adjunct faculty of music at Hunter College. Robert performs extensively throughout the United States and Europe as both a recital soloist and chamber musician. Recent performance highlights include the Seattle International Piano Festival, Music Academy of the West, Randolph College, as well as multiple appearances for Music in Midtown in Manhattan. It follows a similar structure to the Gentle class but includes more dynamic sequences and offers advanced posture variations for students who are ready and able to safely practice them.While the foundational aspects of the practice remain, students are encouraged to explore their individual limits with mindfulness. Basic and gentle variations are always offered alongside more advanced options, and everyone is supported to practice at their own pace.As in all Dharma Yoga classes, rest is encouraged at any time, and resting postures are included between sequences to help balance effort and ease. The practice is rooted in compassion, mindfulness, and the intention to cultivate inner peace and clarity.Led by Tere Yogi.
