Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Speed Island, located at 47 Heisser Lane, Farmingdale, NY at 4:30 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025.    Speed Island is a sports performance and recovery center for athletes that also provides special needs adaptive PE. Their Performance Center is a 20,000 square foot professional-grade indoor facility, equipped with turf field, 55-meter track, multi-purpose court, and Olympic weight room designed for athletes to improve their Agility, Speed, Strength, and Conditioning. Farmingdale Chamber is delighted to welcome Speed Island to the community and we wish Coach Onix Salva great success. Farmingdale Village is hosting an Early, Family Friendly New Year's Eve Celebration - Ring in 2026 with a New Year’s Eve free celebration from 6:30-8 pm. Free admission, free hot cocoa, free noisemakers .& Live Music ... on the Village Green, 361 Main St, weather permitting. Bring family & friends - all ages:  Wednesday eve, 12/31/25, with Live music by Farmingdale's Electric Dudes @ the gazebo.  The festivities conclude with the countdown & NYE ball lighting @ 8 pm. Dine & celebrate locally throughout the Village before & after the festivities. Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the first anniversary celebration of Global Golden Spark, located at 15 Heisser Court, Farmingdale, NY at 4:30 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026.    Global Golden Spark is the home of BreadKone.  BreadKone is the innovative cone-shaped savory bread created by Greek engineers Pantazis Choulis and Eleftherios Spartalis. The company has grown from a small shop in Rhodes to a fast-rising product in U.S. schools, stadiums, and supermarkets.   After developing and patenting the world’s first industrial dough cone-shaping machine, the founders brought BreadKone to New York in 2022, where it has since debuted at Yankee Stadium, entered Harris Teeter supermarkets, and attracted nationwide interest from major distributors and foodservice brands.
