December 27, 2025 Gather Gallery Airigami is taking visitors on a balloon adventure under the sea! Join us December 27 to help Airigami create a balloon sculpture of an iconic piece of art from the Corning Museum of Glass that will take you to a whole new (watery) world.  Join Airigami and Museum staff in the Gather Gallery, where they will guide participants in blowing up and attaching balloons to a frame. As the day stretches on, visitors will be able see to the sculpture develop, grow, and come to life. Inspired by the Blaschka Sea Creatures, the balloon sculpture emphasizes fun, wonder, and creativity! Sponsored in part by Guthrie.

The HSI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. HSI CABS teaches how to start a babysitting business, interact with parents and children, and provides important safety and first aid information using the latest 2020 guidelines.  The course is typically meant for students ages 11-16, and lasts about four hours.The morning will include First Aid, CPR and AED skills components to enhance the course.The class includes an e-textbook.$100/Student.  Pre-registration required and payment accepted day of class.  Lunch will not be provided.  Students should bring lunch to the class.   Students can also choose to take just First Aid/CPR/AED for $80/student from 0830-1230 or just Babysitting/Childcare from 1230-430 for $80/student.Specify on registration.
