January 28, 2026 Dear Brewster Community, This is a follow-up to our January letter regarding the 2026-27 Pre-K program timeline. Due to revisions needed to proposals from some of our potential community-based organizations before they can be recommended for approval by the Board of Education, we must delay the scheduled Parent Information Meetings and the opening of the application. This delay does not delay the overall process. Please note the updated timeline for our Pre-K program: Pre-K Parent Meetings (Virtual): English: Wednesday, February 11th, 6:30 PM via Zoom Spanish: Wednesday, February 11th, 7:30 PM via Zoom Application opens: Thursday, February 12th Application closes: Friday, February 27th Lottery: Wednesday, March 4th at 2:00 PM (This date remains unchanged) Placement notification sent to families: Friday, March 6th (This date remains unchanged) Pre-K Registration: March 23rd-April 10th (This date remains unchanged) We look forward to building on the success of our Pre-K program next school year.
