This program focuses on broad, transferrable skills, including and understanding of heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation industry, and demonstrates elements of the industry such as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, the underlying principles of technology, and health safety, and environmental issues. Learners should obtain EPA certification prior to leaving school in order to be employed in any job that requires work with refrigerants. Instruction includes a combination of classroom theory and practical experience.

Many Auburnians often stop Dominic when they meet him and ask “how did you end up in Auburn?!” So, Dominic decided to share his story with Auburn Public Theater for one-night only in a cabaret spanning musical genres and decades of his life. Explore the possibilities of basketry techniques for sculpture. Using variations on traditional wire basketry, twining, and coiling with soft materials, students will learn multiple weaving techniques to make everything from small baskets to large scale installations. Particular attention will be paid to pattern and line quality in 3D work. Ways to include found objects and methods for turning a wide variety of upcycled materials into woven sculptures will be covered, as well as how to incorporate sculptural basketry into your other art making practice(s). No fiber or basketry experience necessary
