The November book discussion title, The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O’Farrell, is a novel set in Renaissance Italy centering on the resilient young duchess Lucrezia de’Medici and her battle to survive in the unfamiliar court of her new husband, the ruler of Ferrera.     Monday, November 11th at 11:00 AM OR Wednesday, November 13th at 6:00 PM       We’ll meet in the Library Conference Room on the 2nd floor, but if you wish, you can also join us virtually via Zoom. Writer’s Café is WMTL’s tween and teen creative writing café that meets on the second Monday of each month. Join us for our drop-in sessions with your imagination and inspiration. Autumn Tree Puzzle Collage: Tuesday, November 12th starting at 3:30 pm Are you interested in repurposed or recycled art? Then join us for craft afternoon perfect for tweens and teens! We will be using recycled puzzle pieces, acrylic paints, hot glue, and a stretched canvas to create an abstract landscape. All necessary supplies will be provided at the program. All participants will take home one recycled puzzle collage that will be painted and assembled on a 8″ x 10″ stretched canvas. Location: Room 4 (on the second floor) For grades 6-12!
