About Us
We are a land and nature conservancy group with an additional focus on historical and cultural resources for the Ramapo Mountains in New Jersey. The Ramapough Conservancy is a focuses on preserving the unmatched natural, cultural and historical resources of the Ramapo Mountains in New Jersey. We also are deeply committed to helping the Ramapough Lenape Indian Nation, a Native American Indian tribe living in the Ramapo Mountains. We currently act under the stewardship of the Land Conservancy of New Jersey. Our consultant for archaeological resources is the icon Edward Lenik. The Ramapough Conservancy helps protect, enhance and promote the extraordinary region of the Ramapo Mountains.
