Join us for this exciting evening performance celebrating Jane Austen's 250th birthday, as we "meet" the legendary author, Miss Jane Austen! She will tell us about her life and times, as well as discuss fashions of the late 18th & early 19th centuries and see how the politics of the day influenced her work, fashion, and daily life. There will be lots of clothing on display that would be worn during the regency time period, and also from a couple of decades earlier, during Marie Antoinette's time, showing the vast difference.
