Please join us as we welcome Miss Bee for a Wiggle & Giggle playgroup! Every class begins with our Hello song. Our 45-minute mixed age classes are crafted with fun in mind. The first 30 minutes of each class students engage in story time, music, and movement with traditional and original children’s songs. We use puppets, scarves, streamers, parachutes, bubbles, shakers, and other instruments during classes. The last 15 minutes of class is dedicated to play through exploration and socialization. Children will play with each other, toys, and explore independently while their grownup steps back and observes.

All children in 2nd grade and up are invited to join instructors from Jersey City studio, Kennedy Dancers, as they offer a free six-week Latin Dance Workshop on Mondays at 2:00 PM starting on July 6. This class will introduce our young students to the styles of salsa, bachatta and merengue! Kennedy Dancers is a non-profit Jersey City Based Professional, American Dance Company established in 1976 with a mission of bringing high-quality dance training and professional performance opportunities to the NY/NJ Metro area. The company was founded by Artistic Director Diane Dragone to bring dance performances to Jersey City, greater Hudson County, and the tri-state area. This class will be free of charge. Join us as we bring back Paper Heart Puppets for their amazing Carrot Salesman show!! Puppeteer, puppet builder and arts educator Brad Shur is the founder and lead artist of Paper Heart Puppets. Brad began performing as a student at the Rhode Island School of Design. While earning a degree in film, he was a regular performer at late night puppet slams and with Big Nazo Puppets.  From there, Brad went on to tour nationally with Wood and String Puppet Theatre and Vermont Puppetree. As a freelance puppet builder he created puppets for American Idol, Dolly Parton’s Dollywood amusement park and many theaters and other performers. In 2009, he became the Resident Artist at Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline, Massachusetts where he served as the lead teaching artist and touring puppeteer for eight years.
