About Us
Milford Area Players (MAP) was formed in 2002 by a group of theater lovers intent on continuing the area's proud theater tradition following the demise of Milford, New Hampshire's regionally renowned American Stage Festival (ASF). MAP's initial productions were performed in the Milford Town Hall, and after contributing both financially and physically towards the restoration of the old ASF theatre, in 2004 MAP became the resident theatre company of the Amato Performing Arts Center, the performing arts theater wing of the Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley. Working with core values of quality, respect, creativity, community and fun, the troupe has set its star on becoming the leading regional theater company known for quality theater and talented, artistically creative members.
