The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share an upcoming community panel discussion presented by the Farmington Regional Chamber in partnership with the St. Francois County Coalition to End Homelessness. This Panel Discussion on Homelessness will take place on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the First State Community Center Auditorium in Farmington. The discussion will feature representatives from: • East Missouri Action Agency • Missouri Department of Social Services • Farmington Chief of Police • Shared Blessings Transitional Housing The event is open to the public and is intended to provide information, insight, and dialogue surrounding homelessness in St. Francois County. Questions may be submitted in advance to [email protected]. Questions will not be accepted the night of the event. Community members are encouraged to attend and be part of this important conversation.

The Park Hills – Leadington Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share an upcoming professional development opportunity for healthcare providers in our region. BJC Community Health Improvement (CHI) will present a virtual workshop titled “Counseling Patients on Secure Storage to Prevent Firearm Injury.” This educational session is designed to expand providers’ knowledge and build confidence in discussing firearm safety and secure storage with patients and their families.  The workshop will be delivered by Dr. Lindsey Clukies, MD, a WashU Medicine pediatric emergency medicine physician with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The curriculum is based on research and commonly asked questions from healthcare professionals regarding firearm safety and storage counseling. Topics will include: The epidemiology of gun violence in Missouri Missouri laws surrounding firearm safety and storage counseling Evidence-based talking points for discussing firearm access and secure storage with patients and families An overview of secure storage devices Resources to provide patients and families related to gun violence prevention and safe storage This virtual training is free and open to healthcare providers. CME credits will be available at no cost for physicians. Two sessions are available: Wednesday, March 11 | Noon–1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 | 4:00–5:00 p.m. Healthcare professionals interested in attending may RSVP using the QR code provided on the event flier. The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share an upcoming regional resource event presented by the L.I.F.E. Center of Farmington. The 1st Annual Parkland Disability & Planning Expo is designed to support families and caregivers of individuals with developmental or physical disabilities by providing clear guidance through the often complex planning process. This full-day expo will feature panelists from a variety of agencies who will walk attendees through key topics including care coordination, financial planning, and long-term life planning to help ensure a meaningful and secure future. The event will include a keynote presentation by Janet Renshaw, ChSNC®, and will be held at the Industrial and Technology Building on the campus of Mineral Area College. This event is open to families, caregivers, and anyone supporting individuals with special needs. Advance registration is encouraged.

Join us on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, for this signature Chamber event as we recognize outstanding individuals and organizations whose dedication and contributions have made a meaningful impact throughout the year. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. at The White Magnolia, allowing guests time to enjoy fellowship and networking before the evening’s formal program begins. Dinner, awards presentations, and entertainment will follow. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment provided by the returning Royal Dumpe Dinner Theatre, known throughout the region for its engaging performances rooted in classic medieval-style comedy and interactive theater.   The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce continues its newly refreshed monthly luncheon series with the next installment of Investor Connect: Plug In. Learn More. Do More. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM at The Cardinal Center inside the MAC TECH Building. Designed to strengthen connections and provide valuable insight for Chamber investors, Investor Connect meetings feature guest speakers, community updates, and conversations that help local businesses stay informed and engaged. The March meeting will feature a presentation from the St. Francois County Ambulance District, who will share an inside look at the services and programs they provide throughout the district. Representatives will discuss the proposition that will appear on the April ballot and highlight several of the district’s initiatives, including the Mobile Integrated Healthcare Network, community outreach programs, and the emergency services they deliver across the region. Lunch will be available for $10 per person, provided by Subway, and will include a sandwich, chips, and a drink. Reservations are required by Thursday, March 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM. This event is open to all Chamber investors and business professionals throughout the region and continues the Chamber’s commitment to providing opportunities to plug in, learn more, and do more together.

The L.I.F.E Center pleased to share an inclusive Easter celebration The Easter Egg Hunt & Jelly Bean Jamboree will take place on Saturday, March 28, and is specially designed for children and adults with special needs. All siblings are welcome to attend and participate. This fun-filled day will include Easter activities, games, arts and crafts, prizes, and an accessible egg hunt where everyone can take part. Each participant will receive an Easter basket. Event times are divided by age group to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all participants. • Children ages 0–16: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. • Adults ages 17 and up: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Gymnasium, located at 608 East Columbia Street in Farmington.
