The JPS Virtual High School Academy is accepting applications through May 30, 2024. Scholars in grades 9-12 interested in full-time online learning are eligible to apply. You must be able to work independently. Pre-selected students must also complete an interview. For the virtual learning program, all Mississippi Department of Education process standards will be held to the same standards as in-person learning. Schools attend a full day of courses online with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous instruction.

Juneteenth (Districtwide Closure)

All JPS schools and offices will be closed in observance of the Juneteenth holiday on Monday, June 17, 2024.

Independence Day Holiday

All JPS schools and offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of Independence Day.
