The professional serves an access point for patrons to connect with mental health and/or substance use services by completing comprehensive evaluations and making referrals for services. They can also be available to guide patrons in connecting with community resources tailored to their needs. Their expertise includes knowledge of public, private, and government organizations that can provide support.
