High Schoolers, join us for a chance at some volunteer hours on Wednesday, October 23rd from 5:30 to 7:30. We’ll teach you how to make braided rope toys and snuffle mats for dogs that are made from recycled t-shirts and sweatshirts. Earn 2 volunteer hours for the activity, and up to 2 more hours for donated rope toys or snuffle mats dropped off at the library within the following week. (30 mins for each 5 rope toys. max 20. 1 hr. for each snuffle mat. max 2.) We’ll be donating the toys and mats to the “I Heart Dogs” animal shelter located on 9 Mile and Groesbeck.
