The Winter Duck-orating Contest returns to the VDL! This year's theme is "celebration". Any sort of celebration is welcome.   Pick up your duck starting December 3. Decorate it according to your interpretation of the theme. Return the decorated duck by January 2. There are three categories: youth, adult, and family. Only one entry per person. The public will vote, and the best duck in each category will win a prize.   More details are available on the entry form. Or you can contact the library if you have questions.

 Family Story Time is for children ages infant to 4 years old and their caregivers. We will listen to stories, sing songs and rhymes, and have lots of fun! After story time we will have a simple craft activity. No registration is required.
