All sessions will be in the new Adult Programming Room located on the main floor (formerly the Children's Programming Room)! No unsupervised children, please.

Elementary school-aged children are welcome to come to the library to receive homework help from teen volunteers in the following subjects: Math, English/Language Arts, Science, and History/Social Studies. Teen volunteer tutors are available on a first come, first served basis, no appointment needed. If there is a wait, sessions will be limited to 30 minutes.Student must bring a school assignment and any necessary materials for it to the Homework Help session.Teen volunteers are here to help but are not certified and are not responsible for your child's grades.

Library Board meetings are usually held on the third Monday of each month, at the Redford Township District Library at 4:30pm, to review library financials, make policy decisions, and provide broad operational oversight of the Library. The public is welcome.

Once a month, we’ll meet up in-person to talk about upcoming titles, debate our favorites, watch anime, try our hands at manga/anime style drawing, try Japanese snacks, hang out, and more. This is an in-person, walk-in club which means stop in when you’re able and leave when you need to–no pressure to attend all or nothing!Teen clubs, meetings, and programs at the Redford Township District Library are intended to be inclusive, safe, and welcoming spaces for all, regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexuality, and ability.
