Six weeks of beginning to intermediate level pottery. Various techniques of wheel throwing, hand building and glazing will be taught. Bring your tools, an apron and an old towel (vinyl gloves and sandpaper on glazing night). Individual development is of primary importance. Come experiment with clay! Includes 25 lbs. of clay, glazes and firing. Dress for mess! Evening classes will follow.

Early Learner & Caregiver: Handbuilding Hand Bowls

Create a bowl as unique as you and your little one! Using your hands as templates, participants will be cutting out, carving, and shaping bowls using basic clay hand building techniques. Bowls will then be fired and require the Glazing Class to be complete.

Then, turn on your exploration of color with a mixed media technique using acrylic paint after a brief demo.
