Mason First United Methodist Church is pleased to present its Living Nativity! The church, which is located on Mason’s town square at the corner of Ash and Barnes Street, has designed a luminary-lined pathway where cars can slowly make their way past eight stations of the Christmas story featuring live actors and animals depicting scenes from the decree from Caesar Augustus to the manger in Bethlehem. You’ll see the Angel Gabriel telling Mary that she will have a child and name him Jesus. You’ll see Mary and Joseph with a donkey on their way to Bethlehem. You may even catch a glimpse of three wise men and their camel journeying towards the star over the manger!   There is no charge for this event.  Mason FUMC offers this Christmas experience as a gift to the community.  There are 2 ways to enjoy the event: Take a hayride from Barnes Street or enter by car from our Rogers Street entrance (behind the church). Registration is OPEN!   Our 41st Annual Spring Fling Courthouse Show on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. This is an outdoor show with 130 lawn spaces each 10' X 10'. This show is non-juried event, and applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis until all booth spaces are reserved. The Mason Area Chamber does it’s best to accommodate requests regarding vendor spaces but CANNOT guarantee placement. If you have special requirements for your booth space such as: sun, shade, flat, etc, please contact the chamber office or make note in the comments section of the online registration form.  Vendor Information: The booth fee is $125, and vendors have to sign up by Thursday, April 17th. No electricity, tables or canopies are provided, only the 10X10 area for the day. Vendors are required to setup 18 inches from the sidewalks to avoid sprinkler lines. Vendors that exceed the 10X10 allotted space will be charged an additional fee.  Food Vendor Information  Food Truck spaces are limited and registration is available until Thursday, April 17th. Food vendors will be provided with electricity only. Power is available at 15amp 110v and 30amp 220v. We DO NOT have 50amp service available. Please contact the chamber office with specific electricity needs. Please bring your own water supply, water hook-up is not provided. Cancelations before April 1, 2025 are subject to a $25 nonrefundable cancellation fee. Any cancellation after April 2, 2025 will be nonrefundable for any reason. Free parking is available in the designated municipal lots. Vendors may NOT park all day in the two-hour street spaces surrounding the courthouse! If you sell manufactured products (Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, It Works, etc.) you are required to contact the MACC for approval.  Any vendor with a canopy larger than 10x10 needs to obtain a building permit from the City of Mason. Please give the city a minimum of 1 week prior to the event to get you a permit. Two 10x10 canopies placed next to each other do not require a building permit. Please direct all questions to the City of Mason, 517-676-9155.  This event is RAIN or SHINE! The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for lost or stolen property, revenue of sales and customer flow.  The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce works diligently to advertise and promote all our events to the broadest population possible. We encourage you to promote yourself and our events to ensure a successful event.  By registering participant hereby agrees to the following show rules and releases the Mason Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Mason, Ingham County, board of directors, staff, and volunteers of any liability for damage, injury, or the loss to any person or goods from any cause whatsoever. The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to request the removal of any vendor or items the Chamber deems objectionable and inappropriate without refund of fees.

Mason's premier golf scramble, the MACC Golf Classic, attracts many golfers each year. The outing runs on three 9-hole courses simultaneously and is a great opportunity for members, guests, and volunteers to network and conduct business in a relaxed, fun environment. Again, this year, a portion of the net proceeds of the MACC Golf Classic will benefit the MACC Scholarship Fund for Community Volunteerism. The 52nd Annual MACC Golf Classic includes 18 holes of golf with cart, continental breakfast, lunch at-the-turn, golfer's "goodie bag", beer and wine on the course, pop and water, and door prizes. The event is $100 per golfer. Your registration will contribute to the MACC's fund balance allowing us to continue bringing free public events such as our Thursday Night Live Concert Series, Independence Day Parade, Holidays Light Parade, and Small Business Saturday to downtown Mason. This event is presented by ORACLE FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS and sponsored by many other Mason Area Chamber of Commerce business members.
