What: Sundown Safari Camping When: June 24, 6:30 p.m. – June 25, 9:30 a.m. Where: Potter Park Zoo Have you ever wanted to spend the night at the zoo? Now’s your chance! Potter Park Zoo is offering an opportunity for families and small groups to experience the zoo after dark. The cost is $40 per person for non-members and $35 for members. Campers will take a guided tour of the zoo, enjoy s’mores around the campfire, watch a movie outdoors, and sleep under the stars! A continental breakfast and zoo admission the next day are included. Participants must provide their own gear (tent, sleeping bags, etc), and children must be accompanied by an adult.Register Here!

On the morning of July 8th, we’ll be hosting a river cleanup along the Lansing River Trail in front of the park. This is your chance to make a difference in your community and help us protect the beautiful wildlife that call our rivers home. We’re providing supplies, and we welcome anyone who wants to lend a hand in making our environment cleaner and safer. We know that a single act can make a big difference, and we’re counting on our dedicated community to help us make this event a success. So, come and be a part of the solution. Let’s work together to protect our rivers, the animals that live there, and the beautiful scenery around us.
