The Knowlton House Museum is OPEN every Monday Night from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM in June, July & August!  Hiram Knowlton was a prominent community member in Allendale and a veteran of the American Civil War, riding as a cavalryman in the 5th Michigan Cavalry Regiment. The Knowlton House Museum beautifully recreates life in Allendale during the 1890's. Come see amazing artifacts such as the giant Great Spinning Wheel and a 19th Century Danish Loom. The Knowlton House Museum is open during open hours of the Allendale Historical Society, or for private tours. Contact [email protected] to schedule a tour.

2026 Golf Outing Supporting Local Scholarships Wednesday June 17, 2026 at Pigeon Creek Golf **ONE TEE time, limited to the first 32 teams!  Individual Golfer $160 Team Golf $600   Join us for our annual multi-chamber golf outing! The Hudsonville, Grandville/Jenison, and Allendale Chambers are hosting the annual golf outing on Wednesday, June 17. This year, we're thrilled to share that a portion of our profits will go towards funding our local scholarship for Allendale residents attending Grand Valley State University!  *Lunch will be provided for golfers. NEW this year! If you're not a golfer, or have limited time, join us JUST FOR LUNCH! Enjoy networking with members from 3 different chambers and a delicious summer themed lunch! ($25.00 per person) Registration closes on June 10 at 5:00pm. Donate to our silent auction!  We are accepting prizes for our silent auction! Free Food to Those in Need * COVID-19 OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES UPDATE! * Due to the COVID-19 virus, we are required to change our operating procedures as follows: - We will be running the Food Truck “CAR-HOP” style. - At 10:00 am, (NOT A MINUTE EARLIER!) we will open the east side doors of the Church for registration. - At registration, you will receive a sheet of paper with your number on it. - You’ll go back to your vehicle and place your number where it is visible. - Wait inside your car. To reduce contact, we will pack the carts and bring the food to your car. We are hoping to serve groups of 10-15 people at a time. Please take the food you are given. If you’re not able to use the food you receive, please give it to others you know who are in need. After everyone is served, we will count to see how many cars are left in the parking lot for leftover food. We will bag it and bring it out to you. Since this plan is on paper, it may change and have to be adjusted. Please be patient and let God be the peace in your life. We will not be serving coffee or cookies, so please bring your own snacks. To keep the bathroom use down to a minimum, only a few people at a time will be allowed in. Straight in and straight out. Please come prepared, and try to focus on the positive. You will be receiving food, and those serving, are showing Christ’s love to you and to the community.
