Led by Stockbridge resident Ramelle Pulitzer, MEd., writing sessions will gently follow the outline set in the book Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg. Ramelle writes on a regular basis for her website New View Tours. She looks forward to coordinating and leading a group of writers ready to explore writing practice as a way to improve and enjoy expressing oneself.

This Valentine’s Day, help support our Library fundraiser by attending our Annual Valentine’s Book Party Fundraiser. We will have new books available on display that you can purchase for the library in honor of someone special in your life. We’ll then create a bookplate to honor or memorialize your loved one that will go inside the book. We will also have a make your own Valentine craft table that is for both children and adults to enjoy! Light refreshments and sweet treats will be served.

Library Lion invites all his stuffed animal friends to join him for a Stuffed Animal Sleepover at the Library!On Feb. 17 anytime between 9am-3pm, children can drop off their stuffed animal or toy at the Stockbridge Library.  Children will go home, but their stuffed animal will stay with the librarians as they get ready for their stuffed animal sleepover at the library. The next morning, Feb. 18 at 10:30am, children will return to the library to pick up their stuffed animal, eat some donuts and fruit, and watch a video slideshow with photos of the adventures their stuffed animals went on overnight at the Library!

Are you a teen interested in learning about how to grow your money by investing in the stock market? Then join our monthly Future Fortune Club and learn from investment professionals how to invest now for your own future fortune! Teens who participate will have the opportunity to win a college scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $5,000! The club will meet once a month. Teens will pick 1-3 individual stocks and track their performance through May 2026. The teen with the stock that performs the best by May will win a $5,000 scholarship, the second highest performing stock will win a $2,500 scholarship, and the third highest performing stock will win a $1,000 scholarship.   For ages 14 to 18 years only. Teens must attend ⅔ of meetings to be eligible for a scholarship. Program host, Matt Chester, will guide scholarship winners through the process of creating a 529 bank account and the scholarship money will be deposited directly into the 529 account. Pizza will be provided at each meeting!   Program hosted by Matthew Chester and Jon Budish.
