Meditation is back! Meditation is about training your mind to calm down and become peaceful. A peaceful mind can reduce stress and bring positivity to your daily interactions-at home, in the workplace or wherever you are. A consistent practice of meditation can improve your overall quality of life. In this class, Neeni will teach you the basics of Middle Way meditation and will guide you through a meditation session.  Neeni began practicing meditation in Thailand more than 30 years ago. Join us for 60-minutes of FREE yoga before the holidays in the historic Richardson Building and enjoy our special Victorian-inspired winter decor and photo areas! Instructor Rhiannon, of Humble Roots Yoga, uses physical demonstration, verbal instruction, modifications and variations to create all level classes for all fitness abilities. Rhiannon is a 200hr registered and certified yoga teacher, mental health/wellness advocate and founder of Humble Roots Yoga. In sharing her practice, Rhiannon aims to cultivate compassion, increase tolerance and promote a culture of inclusivity within the yoga community and the community at large. Humble Roots Yoga classes are friendly, non-competitive, judgement free and trauma sensitive. Hands on assists will not be provided. Accessibility: beginner friendly, must be able to get up and down from the ground.
