Join us on the first Saturday of the month for an interactive performance and clinic series with local music teacher and performer Jason Graham. Each session will cover a variety of musical topics and techniques ranging from beginner basics to more advanced concepts.  This series is intended for music lovers and musicians of all levels and will include performances of a variety of songs designed to demonstrate different techniques and compositional elements. The format will allow for questions and discussion, with the first hour focused on the performance and educational elements, followed by an additional shorter session designed around group interaction.  Attendees are welcome to bring their guitar for the shorter session following the performance where we will explore and examine any questions or concerns they have regarding their instrument or skills, and enjoy an opportunity to jam together on a song or two!  Registration encouraged, but not required. Participants can pick their plant during the workshop; seed supply will be limited. CHILDRENâS MUSIC CLASS w/ Monument Square Music  Join us in the Community Room for a  monthly music and movement series for children.  These group classes for children ages 1-5 start January 12th and will continue on the second Monday of each month through March. In this interactive âKiddie Music Timeâ childrenâs music class toddlers and young children can get their first taste of music through songs, games, and dance. Whether learning a new instrument or singing along to the piano, kids will gain artistic and musical skills such as : Tapping rhythm in perfect time Singing in tune Familiarity with different music styles and rhythms including jazz, rock, and latin Creativity and exploration with music Dancing And the list goes on! On the second Monday of the month (Sep-May), readers will join Miss Joslyn in the story craft room to chat about our latest book, share our favorite moments, discover new perspectives, eat some yummy treats/snacks, and do crafts/activities that bring our books to life! Nashoba Associated Boards of Health (NABH) welcomes adults who are experiencing grief to participate in monthly, drop-in Grief & Healing Support Groups throughout the region. Facilitated by grief counselor Karen Campbell, MSMHC, these support groups are open to the public and offer a safe space to share experiences of the grief journey. These groups are an opportunity to learn more about the grief process and strategies for managing grief. Confidentiality is respected and honored. These Grief & Healing Support Groups honor all types of grief, including grief due to loss, change and transitions. In recognition that grief has no time frame, those who grieve are welcomed at any time in their journey. Since grief is an evolving process, occasional check-ins with a grief support group may be beneficial. No one is required to commit to consistent attendance. These services are provided to the community by Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, with the support of funding from the Bruna Rocha Memorial Foundation, the Haley Cremer Foundation, and an anonymous community donor.
