.Little Yogi and MeJoin yoga teacher Kristen Ziinoto stretch, breathe, and connect with your little Yogi.Little Yogi and Me classes are lively and lighthearted, incorporating age-appropriate yoga poses, explanations of breathing techniques and concepts related to focus and concentration while keeping the overall class environment light and fun with the use of props, songs, yoga games and playful poses.Kristen completed her 300-hour yoga training course and received her certificate in 2021. She has previously ran yoga classes at Joy of Yoga in Holbrook, MA as well as Open Doors in Easton, MA. Kristen also holds a masters degree in education and works with children and families often.For ages 3 and up with an accompanying parent or caregiver. Bring your mats! .CLASS IS FULLThe Holbrook Public Library and the Holbrook Council of Aging are excited to announce that we are partnering together to offer a great program : A Matter of Balance presented by Norwell VNA. This 8 week program will help attendees learn how to decrease their risk for falls, how to exercise to improve their balance, strength, and flexibility, and help them return to an active lifestyle. Anyone who has a history of falls, has reduced their activities due to concern for fall risks, or wants to improve their strength and balance would benefit from participating in this great program.Healthy Snacks and beverages will be provided during session breaks. Space is limited to the first 15 registrations. There will be a waitlist opportunity. Attendance at each session during the 8 weeks is needed to gain the most benefit from the program.
