Morse Pond, Lawrence and FHS instrumentalists perform.  FHS: This is required for Symphony Band, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Marching Band.   • Students will need to check in by 10:30 am at the Falmouth Rec Center with the band secretary to be marked as on time. We recommend them arriving around 10:15 am.   •    Students are required to bring their instruments. We will have a truck for percussion and large instruments, that we will load on Friday after school. If your student’s instrument is on the truck, they need to load it on Friday and unload it after the parade on Sunday. If they can not, they need to ask another student to do it for them.   •    Students are required to wear solid black pants, black socks, and solid black shoes. They will not have access to their marching band black pants. They can wear their marching band shoes.   •    After the parade, students who borrowed shoes will be asked to return them in a bag with their name on it so we can check them off. Students whose shoes are not solid black will be asked to tape their shoes so that we see only black.  LAWRENCE: This is required for all band members.  •    Students should arrive at the Rec Center between 10:30 and 10:45 on the west end zone of the football field. Drop off will be in the main parking lot, NOT Dillingham.  •    Students should have their instrument (no case), and phone if they have one. Note: Percussion equipment will be provided. Wear red on top and jeans/blue pants on the bottom. COSTUMES and/or festive accessories ALSO ALLOWED!  •    We will play "Santa Claus is Comin to Town," MEMORIZED.  •    The parade ends at the village green. Percussion equipment will need to be brought back to the Lawrence School at the end of the parade. Please plan how you will be reunited with your child. If they have a phone, please send them with it.  MORSE POND:  Students should arrive at the Gus Canty Recreation Center at 10:45 am. There will be a lot of traffic so please plan accordingly. Students need to leave instrument cases in the car. There is no place to store cases. The only music that students will need is Jingle Bells (unless it’s memorized).  Students should be picked up in the Lawrence School parking lot immediately upon the completion of Morse Pond’s performance. Please do not wait until the parade is over to pick up your student. The Morse Pond Band usually steps off shortly after noon and ends around 1pm. Drummers – Drummers will be playing our marching drums that I will have for them when they arrive. Drummers should bring their own sticks. Parade Dress – Dress warm!!  Wear layers with the following on top. Students should wear jeans, dark blue or black pants. Students should also wear a red sweatshirt, sweater or jacket with as little writing on it as possible. To top it off, students should wear a Santa Hat if they have one. The parade will step-off at noontime from Dillingham Avenue and Davis Straits and proceed along Main Street to the Village Green.
