Come Meet Annie and the orphans from the musical Annie as presented by Proscenium Circus, the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School Student Theatre this December. Listen to a special read aloud, and watch their rendition of It's a Hard Knock Life during the special presentation at the Sargent Memorial Library in Boxborough, on Saturday December 7th, 1pm-2pm. The play is based on the comic strip, Little Orphan Annie, that tells the story of a plucky young orphan, her fellow orphans, and billionaire Oliver Warbucks who invites her to spend Christmas at his NYC Mansion, during the Great Depression. Enjoy this classic American musical produced by Proscenium Circus, Acton-Boxborough Regional High School's Student Theatre, December 12-14. Newborn-2 years Songs, rhymes, and library time for our littlest patrons! Babies and their grownups will sing, dance, bounce, and be silly at this storytime designed just for them. Note: Sometime in late September, Ms. Heather will go on maternity leave. During that time, Lapsit Storytime will be replaced by a more informal playgroup/meetup every Tuesday at 3 PM.
