Liz Dennison from the Secret Garden of Birds and Bees will be bringing in several owls for all to see and learn about. You will get a chance to see the owls up close and take great photos! Everyone is welcome including daytime visitors and registered campers. We have bench seats available or you can bring your own chair. Enjoy learning about the majestic creatures of the night!

Enjoy the peace and quiet of sunset at Greenbelt Park next to a roaring campfire under the tree canopy. Join a historian from the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site for a talk about the great civil rights leader who lived and worked at her home in downtown Washington DC, only 12 miles from Greenbelt Park. The talk will focus on her life and her impact on both civil and women's rights.  The event is open to registered campers and park guests. It will take place in campground loop B at the campfire circle (follow the signs). You are welcome to bring your own marshmallows!
