24th Classic Film Festival Returns! A Sunday afternoon alternative for those whose tastes run to viewing classic films, rather than outdoor sports or when weather conspires to keep us indoors. Ogunquit Performing Arts announces the winter schedule for its 24th Classic Film Festival! January through April, you can enjoy these Hollywood Classics two Sunday afternoons per month at 2 PM.  The following films dates and categories are announced: January 4th & 18th: Drama February 1st &15th: Romance March 1st &15th: Mystery April 12th: Crime/Adventure All showings begin at 2PM FREE Admission, popcorn & parking. Due to the renovations at the Dunaway Center, this season's series will be hosted by the Ogunquit Baptist Church, 157 Shore Road in Ogunquit, with films screened in the Church's first floor Community Meeting Room. Due to licensing restrictions, titles and actors can only be promoted by our email list. Songwriter Vienna Teng re-emerges this fall with her mashup song pair We’ve Got You - her first new music in over a decade - but her fans have been here the whole time. They’ve packed concert venues even in years between releases, crowdfunded an ambitious music video in hours, and joined by the hundreds when she launched her “music x climate action” Patreon in 2022. That kind of devotion has poured forth since 2002’s Waking Hour, which landed her on NPR’s Weekend Edition, The Late Show with David Letterman, and the top of Amazon’s music charts. Across four more studio albums that followed - the chamber folk of Warm Strangers, the jazz-inflected Dreaming Through the Noise, the indie epic Inland Territory, the bright electro-pop in Aims - Vienna has paid homage to her genre-bending heroes like Paul Simon and Tori Amos, while carving a path all her own. Together with her captivating live performances and thoughtful online presence, her work has built a loyal following across generations and continents. Vienna’s new mini-EP We’ve Got You reflects the complexity of her life over the past decade: climate change work, community building, parenthood. Two songs, each titled “We’ve Got You,” act like fraternal twins: one an indie-pop tribute to inspiring leaders, the other a chamber-folk paean to unsung caregivers. Played simultaneously, they reveal a new intricate whole: a mashup by design, and a love letter to social movements. Appropriately, Vienna now also hosts climate action workshops on tour and online, which participants have described as “rocket fuel” and “the perfect antidote to despair.” It’s an exciting new chapter in the ever-evolving love story between an artist and her audience and now she will be back live in concert at Jonathan's Ogunquit.

Pottery Painting! We have a large variety of pottery to choose from and the best part is.... because we do not use a kiln, you get to leave the same day with your masterpiece. Don't worry though, we will add a clear finishing glaze and your piece will sparkle. Sea Glass Art! Perfect for all ages, In this hands-on Sea Glass Art Workshop, you’ll design your own framed masterpiece using an assortment of sea glass, shells, driftwood, starfish, and other coastal treasures. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or trying something new, this class is a fun and memorable way to connect with the beauty of the Maine coast. OPEN STUDIO HOURS: Booked in 2-hour sessions. 24th Classic Film Festival Returns! A Sunday afternoon alternative for those whose tastes run to viewing classic films, rather than outdoor sports or when weather conspires to keep us indoors. Ogunquit Performing Arts announces the winter schedule for its 24th Classic Film Festival! January through April, you can enjoy these Hollywood Classics two Sunday afternoons per month at 2 PM.  The following films dates and categories are announced: A Crime/Adventure film on April 12th FREE Admission, popcorn & parking. Due to the renovations at the Dunaway Center, this season's series will be hosted by the Ogunquit Baptist Church, 157 Shore Road in Ogunquit, with films screened in the Church's first floor Community Meeting Room. Due to licensing restrictions, titles and actors can only be promoted by our email list. If you are not already on the mailing list, you can enroll by visiting the OPA website at www.ogunquitperformingarts.org.  The Sunday afternoon series is a great opportunity for fellowship with friends and family and provides antidote to winter’s cabin fever malaise.
