Inspired by the romance and charm of Paris in the springtime, April in Paris brings together the soulful sounds of classic French music, fine food, and elegant drinks to celebrate the season. From 6:00 to 8:30 PM, the talented La Madeleine Trio will transport you to the streets of Montmartre with a nostalgic blend of French folk songs and ballads, paying tribute to legends like Édith Piaf, Jacques Brel, and Georges Moustaki. David Cook (and yes, the same David Cook who launched into stardom following his American Idol Season Seven win – breaking several Billboard chart records when 14 of his songs debuted on the Hot Digital Songs chart and 11 of his songs debuted on the Hot 100) certainly knows his way around a good song. His first album, Analog Heart, came out pre-Idol, and his last album, Digital Vein, nicely book-ended that chapter of Cook's career, a chapter during which he sold more than 2 million albums (including his platinum-certified eponymous album) and, collectively, more than 5 million tracks (including two platinum-certified singles) worldwide. Cook is well aware, and grateful, for the breaks American Idol has brought his way, and for the opportunities he continues to have. He has no plans to slow it down. "I love creative endeavors. I like starting with nothing and then finishing with something that didn't exist before. That's my favorite thing about creating new music. Open studio at The Creative Soul is an opportunity for you and other creative individuals to come together and explore various forms of art. With a range of options to choose from, there is something for everyone of all ages. All the projects offered are designed to be relaxing and meditative, allowing you to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and connect with your inner artist. Pottery Painting! We have a large variety of pottery to choose from and the best part is.... because we do not use a kiln, you get to leave the same day with your masterpiece. Don't worry though, we will add a clear finishing glaze and your piece will sparkle. Sea Glass Art! Perfect for all ages, In this hands-on Sea Glass Art Workshop, you’ll design your own framed masterpiece using an assortment of sea glass, shells, driftwood, starfish, and other coastal treasures. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or trying something new, this class is a fun and memorable way to connect with the beauty of the Maine coast. OPEN STUDIO HOURS: Booked in 2-hour sessions. Wednesday - 10am, 12pm, 2pm Thursday – Saturday10am, 12pm, 2pm & 4pm Sunday - 10am & 12pm (open Sundays in July & August only) CLICK HERE to book your session now. Step onto the streets of Paris right here on the coast of Maine as Clay Hill Farm transforms into a cozy French bistro for two unforgettable evenings. Inspired by the romance and charm of Paris in the springtime, April in Paris brings together the soulful sounds of classic French music, fine food, and elegant drinks to celebrate the season. From 6:00 to 8:30 PM, the talented La Madeleine Trio will transport you to the streets of Montmartre with a nostalgic blend of French folk songs and ballads, paying tribute to legends like Édith Piaf, Jacques Brel, and Georges Moustaki. The delightful music is paired with French Bistro-inspired specials created by Clay Hill Farm's culinary team, featuring classic flavors, French-style wines, craft cocktails, espresso, cappuccino, and scratch-made desserts—all designed to capture the essence of an intimate Parisian café.
