Calling all Fathers! Come out to the Seashore Trolley Museum on Sunday, June 18th to celebrate with us and get FREE Admission! Father to a human? Free Admission. Father to a pet? Free Admission.  Pick up your free boarding pass at the door, at our Museum Store. What do you get for the man who has everything? It’s a challenge. Why put the family through all that stress when you can give dad Father’s Day at Seashore. Take a leisurely ride on our main line out to Talbott Park. You can commune with nature as you travel the way they used to more than a century ago. If you enjoy riding these beautifully restored “time machines” on wheels you may like to see where the magic happens. Behind the Scenes tours of our Donald G. Curry Restoration Shop will be offered between 11:00AM and 1:00PM (COVID-restrictions permitting). Perhaps you have seen our work from the gallery and wished you could get closer. Now is your chance. Walk around these beautiful behemoths as we show you what we do. Get up close to these magnificent works of engineering and craftsmanship as we undo the ravages of time.

Join Seashore Trolley Museum for Dino Trolley, which will be held on Saturday/Sunday June 24th and 25th.  The event will be held rain or shine (but every outdoor activity except for one will be relocated indoors if needed for comfort due to excess heat or water). Dinosaur-themed activities and trolley rides on our heritage railway what a winner of an event this one is going to be! Rides on the Dino Trolley depart from our Visitors Center at 9:45AM,10:30AM, 11:15AM, 12:00PM, 12:45PM, 1:30PM, 2:15PM and 3:00PM. Back at our Visitors Center and around our main campus we will have fun activities to enjoy! To spread out our ticket sales, the starting time on your ticket is your Dino Trolley departure time. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to make sure your group is ready to board. You are welcome to come earlier or stay later to enjoy the activities on campus! The museum will be open from 9:30AM-4:30PM. Dino Trolleys will be decked out with safari/jungle themed decorations so guests and families can get in the mood! Activities include: Dino Quest! Search for dinosaurs along your trolley ride. 20 cut-out dinosaurs will be hidden in the woods along our railway see if you can spot them as the trolley goes by! Dino Big Dig! Search for dinosaur bones hidden in Seashore’s very own archeological dig site! (it’s a big sand box, big enough for social distancing. This is the activity we won’t be able to move indoors if it rains, but it will be in a shaded area). Dino Egg Hunt! Search for dinosaur eggs across campus! Redeem your eggs in the “craft room” for a prize! This is an ongoing activity and eggs will be replenished multiple times each day. Let’s Explore Dinosaurs! A fun scavenger hunt across campus, learn more about different types of dinosaurs and stamp your dino passport along the way. Families with a fully stamped dino passport get to enter for a chance to win a free 2023 Family Membership to Seashore Trolley Museum! Frozen Fossil! Snow cones with a dino gummy surprise at the bottom! Craft in a Bag! Make it at the event or take it home with you! Photo Station! Join us for a Seashore Fan Favorite � Ice Cream Night! Held every Wednesday in July and August from 5:30PM-7:30PM, guests are treated to a special evening trolley ride on our heritage railway through our campus AND an ice cream sundae with all the fixin�s! Tickets are $12/each (children two and under are free). Admission includes the trolley ride and ice cream sundae. Trolleys will depart at 5:30PM, 6PM, and 6:30PM. Example: if your ticket reads 5:30 � 6:30, your trolley leaves at 5:30. Your ice cream sundae will be after your trolley returns to the Visitor�s Center. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your ticket�s boarding time so you are ready to go at your ticketed departure time. (Walk-ins should arrive by 6:30PM to participate in the event). Because Ice Cream Night is a fan-favorite, we encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. Eventbrite ticketholders are guaranteed a spot on the trolley during the ride you�ve selected. Tickets are also available at the door but you will be seated after Eventbrite ticketholders (or you may need to wait for the next ride/s to be accommodated). Do you or a guest in your group have mobility challenges when it comes to navigating trolley steps? Seashore Trolley Museum now has a Mobilift to help you access some of our operating trolleys! If you or a group member would like to use our lift, let us know when you arrive. This season we�re giving back! As a nonprofit, we are so grateful for all of the support we receive from our local community and want to pay the support forward. We�ve selected 9 other local nonprofits who will benefit from Ice Cream Night in 2023 too! On their night, the nonprofit will receive 50% of all proceeds. This means that the nonprofit benefactor on the evening you purchase tickets for will receive $6 for every ticket sold to support their mission. We�ve got Moxie�how �bout you?! Moxie Day at Seashore has become a tradition over the years. Seashore will be hosting the New England Moxie Congress on Sunday, July 9th! They will be sharing FREE SAMPLES of Moxie and Diet Moxie with all guests. You�ll also see all kinds of Moxie memorabilia from their personal collections.You can get Moxie in a lot of different places but the merchandise is a little harder to come by. Not at Seashore though! Our Museum Store has lots of Moxie swag available for purchase all season long! So, if you are looking for a Moxie hat. T-shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie, we�ve got you covered.Supplies permitting we also plan to sell the real deal Moxie in glass bottles made with 100% pure cane sugar, in addition to regular Moxie, in our Museum Store.Developed in Maine and produced in New Hampshire, Moxie is �distinctively different� and legendary in the region. It is feared a bit by those who haven�t tried it because one of its signature ingredients is �gentian root�. On its own, it is very bitter. But, as a finished product, it is less harsh than a quality ginger ale. So, if you love it, come on by and revel in a day set aside for your favorite beverage. If you�ve never had it, give it a try!
