Join us for a Seashore Fan Favorite -- Ice Cream Night! Held every Wednesday in July and August from 5:30PM-7:00PM, guests are treated to a special evening trolley ride on our heritage railway through our campus AND an ice cream sundae with all the fixin's! Sundae toppings include: chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch, and caramel sauces, gummy bears, M&Ms, rainbow and chocolate sprinkles, crushed oreos, whipped cream, and strawberries donated by Wyman's! Dairy free ice cream is also available. Tickets are $14/each (children two and under are free). Admission includes the trolley ride and ice cream sundae. Trolleys will depart at 5:30PM, 6PM, and 6:30PM. Example: if your ticket reads 5:30 - 6:30, your trolley leaves at 5:30. Your ice cream sundae will be after your trolley returns to the Visitor's Center. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your ticket's boarding time so you are ready to go at your ticketed departure time. (Walk-ins should arrive by 6:30PM to participate in the event). Because Ice Cream Night is a fan-favorite, we encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. Eventbrite ticketholders are guaranteed a spot on the trolley during the ride you've selected. Tickets are also available at the door but you will be seated after Eventbrite ticketholders (or you may need to wait for the next ride/s to be accommodated). This event gives back to the community! As a nonprofit, we are so grateful for all of the support we receive from our local community and want to pay the support forward. We've selected 9 other local nonprofits who will benefit from Ice Cream Night in 2026 too! On their night, the nonprofit will receive 50% of all proceeds. This means that the nonprofit benefactor on the evening you purchase tickets for will receive $7 for every ticket sold to support their mission. This special evening will feature an intimate "Songwriters in the Round" at Vinegar Hill, as Will and Luke Mallett sit down with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Eric Bettencourt. They will be joined by Mainer Ryan Cyr. The night promises a heartfelt exchange of acoustic songs, personal stories, and shared experiences, offering audiences a rare, behind-the-music connection with the artists. Will & Luke Mallett (from The Mallett Brothers Band) The Mallett Brothers Band is an independent rock and roll / Americana / country band from Maine. Their busy tour schedule since forming in 2009 has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that’s influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds. Texas Hill Country Explore Magazine calls them “New England’s wildly eclectic crew of genre rebels.” Bill Copeland Music News says “Combining their authentic roots rock sound with a reflective lyrical style that perceives stories on the level of epic myth, it’s like William Faulkner has been resurrected with an electric guitar in hand.” The Mallett Brothers Band has performed at some of the country’s top venues and festivals, including Portland, Maine’s State Theatre; Austin, Texas’s famed Continental Club; Alexandria, Virginia’s Birchmere; New Hampshire’s Meadowbrook Pavilion; Nashville’s Bluebird; Denver’s Cervantes’; and Little Rock’s The Rev Room, to name a few. A list of artists for whom the band has provided direct support would include The Turnpike Troubadours, The Outlaws, Blackberry Smoke, Robert Earl Keen, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, and many more. Festival appearances include FloydFest (Virginia), Hop Jam (Vermont), Nateva (Maine), The New England Country Music Festival (New Hampshire), Eastbound Throwdown (New York), and many more. Ryan Cyr A familiar face to many in Maine's music scene, Ryan spent years co-fronting the original jam band Strange Pleasure, sharing lead vocals, harmonies, drums, and keyboards. His songs have always defied easy categorization—thoughtful, adventurous, and full of unexpected turns. Following the band's run, he joined longtime friend Eric Bettencourt in Giraffe Attack, where original songs gradually became the centerpiece of their live shows. After moving north to raise a family, Ryan never stopped making music, and he's excited to return to the songwriter stage with the same soulful voice and creative spirit that have earned him loyal fans wherever he's played. Eric Bettencourt Eric Bettencourt is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, recording engineer, freelance artist, piano enthusiast, and genre masher who fixes his own cars and cuts his own hair. Live music from Emma Stanley starting at 2pm! Called an “incredible horn player” with “perfect sound” by MaineToday, and a “local horn virtuoso” by the Bangor Daily News, Emma Stanley is a soulful, seasoned performer on trumpet, piano, and voice. Based in Portland, Maine, Emma plays locally and regionally as a solo artist and with multiple groups, currently including Gina & The Red Eye Flight Crew, The Fogcutters, Native Isles, and OC and the Offbeats. Throughout her vast experiences touring nationally and internationally (most recently with Jesus Christ Superstar) and performing with world class acts (such as DIVA Jazz Orchestra, Guster, The Manhattan Transfer, Cyril Neville of the Meters, and John Popper of Blues Traveler) she has developed her own unique sound and style over the years. In her original project, backed by some of Maine’s finest musicians, she draws from influences such as Roy Hargrove, Erykah Badu, Olivia Dean, and Jennifer Hartswick to create a clashing of genres, walking the line between jazz, pop, funk and fusion producing a sound that is distinctly her own.

Proceeds from the 2026 Benefit Concerts will support the St. Ann’s “Preserving a Legacy” Capital Campaign to help to repair and protect our historic buildings against future weather events, and preserve this important legacy for future generations.

Join us for a Seashore Fan Favorite -- Ice Cream Night! Held every Wednesday in July and August from 5:30PM-7:00PM, guests are treated to a special evening trolley ride on our heritage railway through our campus AND an ice cream sundae with all the fixin's! Sundae toppings include: chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch, and caramel sauces, gummy bears, M&Ms, rainbow and chocolate sprinkles, crushed oreos, whipped cream, and strawberries donated by Wyman's! Dairy free ice cream is also available. Tickets are $14/each (children two and under are free). Admission includes the trolley ride and ice cream sundae. Trolleys will depart at 5:30PM, 6PM, and 6:30PM. Example: if your ticket reads 5:30 - 6:30, your trolley leaves at 5:30. Your ice cream sundae will be after your trolley returns to the Visitor's Center. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your ticket's boarding time so you are ready to go at your ticketed departure time. (Walk-ins should arrive by 6:30PM to participate in the event). Because Ice Cream Night is a fan-favorite, we encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. Eventbrite ticketholders are guaranteed a spot on the trolley during the ride you've selected. Tickets are also available at the door but you will be seated after Eventbrite ticketholders (or you may need to wait for the next ride/s to be accommodated). This event gives back to the community! As a nonprofit, we are so grateful for all of the support we receive from our local community and want to pay the support forward. We've selected 9 other local nonprofits who will benefit from Ice Cream Night in 2026 too! On their night, the nonprofit will receive 50% of all proceeds. This means that the nonprofit benefactor on the evening you purchase tickets for will receive $7 for every ticket sold to support their mission. President Bush began painting in 2012, after serving two terms as the 43rd President of the United States. Initially inspired by Winston Churchill’s essay Painting as a Pastime, he has devoted himself to a disciplined artistic practice. For him, painting offers the opportunity to think critically, reflect, learn, and foster connection. President Bush’s works are personal, introspective, at times humorous, and often layered with spiritual resonance and thoughtful inquiry; they consistently reflect the values most important to him: faith, family, freedom, and community. This art exhibition provides a glimpse into his studio practice and the creative life he has built beyond public service. Please join us on Thursday, August 6, 2026 between 9am and 4pm for this special one-day exhibition of President Bush’s recent works of art from his Maine studio. This event will support the preservation of a local Maine national registered historic site, St. Ann’s Kennebunkport. Long cherished by the community and the Bush and Walker families, St. Ann’s is known for its beautiful sea-washed stone chapel and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Open to the public each summer, St. Ann’s is visited by generations of Maine families and thousands of tourists from around the world. Proceeds from the exhibition will support the St. Ann’s “Preserving a Legacy” Capital Campaign and help to repair and protect the historic buildings and grounds against future weather events and preserve this important legacy for future generations. Thank you to the many sponsors from business, philanthropy, and the community for making this art exhibition possible, and to the University of New England for generously donating their venue. Attendees must purchase a ticket to attend the art exhibition on Thursday, August 6, 2026. For the safety of all attendees, all guests attending the event will be subject to metal-detector screening and photo ID verification. Guests may bring a small clutch or clear bag (plastic/vinyl/PVC) not exceeding 12” x 6” x 12”.
