Learn to line dance with Dorothy Anne Sirois (3 one-hour sessions)Beginner Line Dancing to Rock/Pop SongsThis three week class is a beginner/slightly intermediate class that does not increase in difficulty and focuses on everyone meeting for community and having fun. The large variety of short line dances are choreographed to be light and easy dances that are broken down, then rehearsed 3-4 times before doing it to music. 4 or 5 dances are typically learned in one hour. Sign up to join in the fun of line dancing with confidence, relaxation, and joy! Johnson Hall’s Homegrown Series featuring Graham GanterThe Johnson Hall Homegrown Series is a new series that will always feature local artists. Graham Ganter is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Portland, Maine. His style is varied, with influences coming from country, jazz, and folk. His lyrics are often gritty and personal, and WMPG writes that he stands out on stage with his “soulful voice and masterful guitar work.” Alongside guitar, the Fiddle features heavily in his performances, sawing out tunes both ancient and brand new. This upcoming show offers a rare opportunity to see SOUL ASYLUM’s Dave Pirner and RyanSmith perform an intimate, one-of-a-kind acoustic setSoul Asylum Acoustic Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum selling rock band SOUL ASYLUM started as Minneapolis’ punk younger brothers to the Replacements and Husker Dü. Their 1992 breakthrough album, Grave Dancers Union, featured the international hits “Runaway Train”,“Black Gold” and “ Somebody to Shove”. “Runaway Train” won a Grammy,  and its groundbreaking music video brought nearly two dozen missing and exploited children and teens around the world home to their families. SOUL ASYLUM has released 13 original albums – including their most recent, 2024’s Slowly But Shirley – with multiple live albums and assorted Greatest Hits collections.
