PROGRAM: Representatives from Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters will share how one-to-one mentoring is making a meaningful difference for children in our community and the growing need for volunteer mentors in Derby. You will hear real stories from alumni matches, learn what it takes to become a Big, and listen to a powerful message from the mother of a Derby child who has been waiting more than three years for a mentor. The presentation will also highlight other ways you can support local Littles, including spreading awareness and hosting informational sessions, and how just a one-year commitment can help change a life. Join us for pancakes and sausage to-go or in person on Saturday, March 7 from 8:00 - 10:30 am at the American Legion Post 408! Only $7 for a stack of pancakes, 2 sausages, butter and syrup.  All proceeds will benefit Derby Community Family Services (Derby Food Bank). We will also be accepting canned food and monetary donations at the event. **This event is held in partnership with the Derby Public Schools 11th Annual Community Food Drive on March 2-5, 2026 and the Derby Lions Club Business Drive.

Teams of four can participate for $150, covering lane rentals, shoes, non-alcoholic drinks, appetizers and multiple prize opportunities. Expect non-traditional fun with regular bowling and cosmic bowling! Prepare for surprises as players can strategically sabotage others with entertaining bowling prompts, adding an extra twist to the games. The team with the best uniform and the top three scoring teams will secure trophies and bragging rights! Only 24 team spots available. Advanced registration required.
