Students who hope to be selected for this scholarship must be of high moral character, hard-working, and deserving. To qualify, students must: 1. Be a senior on pace to graduate from Ell-Saline High School 2. Be attending post-secondary education following their graduation 3. Either have a 2.5-3.5 GPA or an ACT score of 18-24 4. Write a one-page essay about a non-family person who has inspired them to be either hard-working or of high moral character. Essays will be judged primarily on the effort and thoughtfulness with which they are written. Finalists will have character traits scored by all Ell-Saline staff. Multiple scholarships may be awarded. Scholarship funds will be sent to the post-secondary educational institution. Scholarship application deadline is March 31st. Students can apply for this scholarship from now through March 31 by using the following registration link: 2026 Scholarship and Avanza Sponsorship – Organization of Latino Actuaries The Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA) furthers its mission by awarding academic scholarships to students who will be attending a US college/university during the Fall 2026 - Summer 2027 academic year. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled, and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief, and public relief works. The Knights of Columbus has grown from a few members in 1 council, to more than 13,000 councils and 1.9 million members throughout the United States and around the world. The order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity, patriotism, and fraternity. As part of the educational opportunities that the Knights of Columbus offer, the local Council #601 has set up a scholarship fund for one $1000 scholarship to be awarded annually. The Kansas Seed Industry Association wants to help future Ag professionals. Are you a student looking to attend a college in Kansas? Are you pursuing a degree in Agronomy, Ag Education, Ag Econ/Business, Ag Communications, Grain/Milling Science, Ag Technology, Ag Farm Management, or Horticulture? If you answered “Yes!” and “Yes!”  then you are eligible to get a scholarship from KSIA. Two lucky winners will be chosen: just fill out the KSIA Roberta Donahue Memorial scholarship application.  Both high school seniors and current college students may apply.  Applications are due in the KSIA office by April 1, 2026. Winners will be announced by May 1, 2026, so that they may be recognized at spring awards ceremonies and graduations. When possible, a representative from KSIA will be present to make the award. Sanneman Scholarship Program Eloise Sanneman has established a scholarship in honor of her grandchildren Robyn, Joshua, and Michelle Kejr, who are graduates of Ell-Saline High School. This year, there will be three scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each, and they are for one year and non-renewable. To be eligible, the applicant must have attended Ell-Saline High School for the last four semesters, have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, and be attending either Kansas Wesleyan University or Kansas State University. Applicants will be rated on their academic record, financial need (other scholarships received), citizenship, and participation in activities. Applications may be picked up from the Ell-Saline High School Guidance Counselor and must be returned to the Counselor by April 2. The checks will require co-signatures with the school and will be applied to the enrollment/tuition fee of the second semester after satisfactory completion of the first semester. Click here for the application.
