Find Your People • Build Friendships • Have Fun Welcome to the McHenry County Neurodivergent Young Adults Social Club! We are a social group for neurodivergent young adults ages 18–25 who are looking to build friendships, connect with peers, and enjoy social activities in a welcoming and accepting environment. This group is designed for young adults who may be autistic, have ADHD, are AuDHD, identify as neurodivergent, are naturally introverted, or simply find it difficult to connect with others and make friends. A formal diagnosis is not required to participate. Many young adults are successful in school, work, and daily life but still struggle with social situations, finding people they relate to, or building lasting friendships. Our goal is to create a comfortable community where members can be themselves, meet others with similar experiences, and develop meaningful social connections.   Meeting Information Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock 225 W. While we strive to be welcoming and inclusive, this group is not equipped to provide individual supervision, behavioral support, personal care assistance, or therapeutic services. You’ll learn the art of Sgraffito, a centuries-old technique where you scratch your unique design into colored slip to reveal the clay underneath.   While sipping wine or water, you’ll carve beautiful design on your platter.  At the end of the session, your piece will be glazed and fired by The Guild. This firing will make it food-safe and ready to use at your next party. You will be able to pick up your piece within a week.       This fun, entertaining and educational activity is perfect for friends, siblings, dates, or even a solo adventure—and it's a fantastic way to meet new people!   The skies over Emricson Park will be filled with fireworks July 4, starting at dusk. Walk-ins can enter through South Street and Jackson Street entrances. Donations will be collected to help cover the cost of the fireworks. Concessionaires will offer snacks and beverages for sale. Woodstock is known for having one of the best Fourth of July fireworks displays in northern Illinois so be sure to come for the fun and festivities! Parking in the park will be available using the South Street entrance. Please note there is a $20 fee to park inside the park. Since 1995, Woodstock's annual fireworks display - always held on the 4th of July - has been 100% funded by community donations. That's right! Individuals, businesses, and spectator donations fund this much beloved and highly anticipated show. This year's goal is to raise $50,000 which will ensure the best show in McHenry County takes place at Emricson Park. Please join this community fundraising effort!   Help us bring an amazing fireworks display to our community! Every dollar counts and goes directly to the show. Search begins July 1, 2026 Grand finale party July 31, 2026 | 3-4 p.m. * PLEASE RSVP HERE* Everyone's favorite elusive character is hiding at Read Between The Lynes plus 26 local businesses in Woodstock this July! Can you locate all the mini Waldos? You'll find all the details for your search in our shop. Just ask one of our crew and they'll provide you with the supplies you'll need. Instructions: 1. When you spot Waldo at any of the participating businesses, collect a store stamp or signature. 2. When you find Wizard Whitebeard at Read Between The Lynes, collect a store stamp or signature. 3. When you’ve collected at least ten different store stamps/signatures, take them to Read Between The Lynes to claim a Waldo poster and a coupon for $1 off (limited to the first 125 Waldo-spotters).  4. If you collect at least twenty stamps/signatures, take your stampcard to Read Between The Lynes to get a poster and a coupon, PLUS be entered in a drawing for a deluxe Waldo prize pack. 5.
