IN PERSON EVENT Santa Visits the Library For ages infant to 12 What is it? Come visit Santa, make a craft, take some photos and receive a free book! Extra family members like grandparents and older siblings are welcome to join in for photos and need not be registered. Participant must reside in the SPL District to register and have a SPLD card. Register each participant separately with their name, age and address. Self-register each child via Facebook or website when possible. Please no runny noses or coughs and be fever free for 24 hours. Please read No Show policy below: If you cannot attend a program for which you are registered, you must notify the library to cancel.  Those that do not cancel their registration prior to the program will be considered a "no call, no show."  Three "no calls, no shows" for a household within close succession will result in suspension of program registrations for the following month.  This will also apply to those who excessively cancel registrations. To cancel your registration, you may call the library at 309-593-2178 and speak with a staff member. Join us in the Quiet Reading Room for a free warm beverage while you read the paper or a magazine. Drinks must stay in the Quiet Reading Room or at lobby tables, lids required at all times. Due to possible room reservations, event ends promptly at 11:00am.

Evening Book Club PR

Evening book Club meets on the 3rd Monday at 6:30 pm and the Afternoon group meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 2:30 pm. All selections depend upon availability. Please contact the library to reserve a book.

Enjoy a movie night on us! Each To-Go bag will include two movies, selected by our librarians & popcorn!  You will be asked in a different field for movie rating preference.
