Tazewell County Genealogical & Historical Societypresents the — Tazewell County Roadshow — Sand Prairie, Dillon, & Malone Townships “As our county prepares to celebrate our Bicentennial, we want to take this time to reflect and celebrate the tremendous, rich history of each of the Townships,” said Tazewell County Genealogical & Historical Society President John C. Ackerman. “We invite the public to attend these FREE meetings and gain a deeper understanding of our rich local history”. Our second Roadshow stop will be held at the Sand Prairie Township Building, 102 South Church Street, Green Valley, where we will present a program on the history of Sand Prairie, Dillon, & Malone Townships. Here’s a map to help you get there! The Roadshows are part of the 2027 Tazewell County Bicentennial celebrationand will be held at the April, July, & October meetings of 2026-2028. Short business meeting will be held after the presentation.
