Unit 5 is wrapping up its enrollment planning study, a process that began last fall to better align school boundaries, balance enrollment across buildings, and plan for future enrollment across the district. A recommendation from the committee will be presented to the Board of Education on Wednesday, April 15.The public is invited to attend a virtual meeting at 6 pm on Thursday, April 9, to learn more about the recommendation. The presentation will include an overview of the plan, the different issues that were considered, and how feedback helped shape the plan. This is an opportunity for the community to better understand what is being recommended ahead of the Board's consideration.The committee initially presented two proposals in February. Following that, proposals were revised based on survey responses and community feedback. They were then presented to the Board of Education in March. The final recommendation being presented builds on that work and includes changes made as a result of continued review and community input.Here is a  LINK  to attend the presentation.
