Cheer on the Joliet Central Steelmen and Joliet West Tigers boys’ volleyball teams as they face off in the Volley4Vets Showdown on May 12 in the Joliet West Gym. Games are at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Enter the building through Door 13 (Near the Field House off Glenwood Ave). Tickets are available on  Go Fan . This crosstown rivalry isn’t just about volleyball—it’s about honoring Will County veterans and raising critical funds for veterans in our community. Event t-shirts are available  HERE  until April 19 for $20, with 100% of the proceeds staying right here in our community to support our local veterans. The planning team is also seeking donation of raffle baskets and basket items.  To donate, email  [email protected] .

Joliet West Football invites past, present, and future Tigers and their families to upcoming events this summer. Join the free community football cookout on Sunday, May 17 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Ray Klootwyk Stadium to enjoy food, games, and meet coaches and teammates. Summer football camps will also be offered for freshmen, sophomore, and varsity teams to prepare for the upcoming season. Additionally, a youth football skills clinic will be held July 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. for students in grades 5 through 8. Athletes from any sport are welcome to participate in drills, receive coaching advice, and compete for prizes. To register,  click here .
