Semester 2 Parent Teacher Conferences will be held virtually on Thursday, March 5 (4 – 7 p.m.) and Friday, March 6 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.). This is a valuable opportunity to discuss your students’ progress, attendance, and any concerns. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents/guardians. Registration starts on February 13. We will send communication on this date with registration details and additional information.

The Joliet Public Library is collecting gently used prom dresses, shoes, bags, accessories, and men’s formalwear at their Ottawa Street and Black Road library locations through March 4 during regular library hours. The Joliet Township High Schools Foundation invites you to its 21st annual Trivia Fundraiser on Sunday, March 8 at 176 West Banquets, 1100 NE Frontage Road in Joliet.  Doors open at 2 p.m. with trivia starting at 3 p.m. All proceeds benefit the JTHS Foundation and their mission of providing educational grants and scholarships to students and staff.    This year’s theme, “Through the Decades” includes ten rounds of ten questions.  Teams are encouraged to dress and decorate their table according to the theme.  Cash prizes are awarded to the first and second place top-scoring teams and best-themed table decor and costumes.     The cost to participate per team of ten is $200.  Additionally, each team can purchase a mulligan for $5.00, for one unknown answer per game, during Games 1-8.    Light snacks and desserts may be brought to the event, but no major food items such as sandwiches, pizza, or beverages are allowed because they are available for purchase at the venue.     Table reservations and event sponsorship opportunities are available at  jthsfoundation.org/trivia .    This year’s Trivia Event holds special meaning as it honors the memory of Mary Gaydos, a dedicated Foundation member and retired JT administrator. Mary lovingly created the trivia PowerPoint each year, and the Foundation is proud to honor her by naming this event in her memory.    The JTHS Foundation is a licensed 501(3)c charity serving the students and staff of Joliet Township High School District for more than 25 years. For more information, view the  Event Flyer .

The event supports two initiatives rooted in Mike’s commitment to service, education and athletics: the MAC Mentoring Program and the Michael Austin Clark JTHS Athletic Boosters Endowed Scholarship.  The event takes place Sunday, March 15 at the Renaissance Center in downtown Joliet. The event begins with a Welcome Reception from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, professional photography, and live music by Ellis Wright.
