You will be able to log into the link beginning on July 21st to Register your Returning Student Online. There will be NO Office Hours July 21st - July 31st, so please do not call any of the schools as they will not be open. If you have issues with the online program you will have to wait and call the office on August 1st. HOOPESTON AREA ONLINE SCHOOL REGISTRATION OFFICE HOURS August 1st and August 2nd: 8:30-11:00 AM; 12:30-3:30 PM Monday August 5th: 8:30-11:00; 1:00-6:00 PM How do I get started: Visit our school website https://www.hoopeston.k12.il.us and right below the main picture you will see a blue box that says RETURNING Student Registration, click that box to begin. ALL students that have ever been enrolled in our school district and ALL Kindergarten students that have PRE-REGISTERED are considered Returning Students. Use last years info to log in or re-register if you have had an email change. The Registration link will be open from July 21st thru August 5th What is a SNAPCODE: The snapcode is like a key to your child's data for the upcoming school year. Make sure you enter it exactly as it appears, with no spaces. Should I create an account: You will use the same username and password to log in, that you used last year, after you have entered the Snapcode. If you forgot your username/password, use the 'Forgot Password' link to have it reset. Just like last year, an email address will be required to complete the registration process. Please take note of your username/password and email address log in info, so that next year you will have it onhand. If you are new to this program just follow the prompts. Forms for multiple school children can be completed within the same account. What if I make a mistake: If you would like to make a change, prior to submitting, you can either navigate back to the page using the "" buttons. Or if you are on the Review Page, click on the underlined field. If you have already submitted it then you will need to contact your child's school, so they can make the changes for you. What if I don't have Internet: If you do not have the Internet, please go to your child's school during the above dates and times to register. There will be school lap tops set up for you to use. Please make sure that you bring your child's SNAPCODE with you, you will not be able to register without it. I've completed all of the sections, now what's next: Once you have finished entering your information, click 'SUBMIT'. This will send all of your information that you have entered to your child's school.If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all REQUIRED questions. If you are paying by CASH or BOOK WAIVER, you must visit your school's office during the registration dates and times that are listed above. Please note that your child's registration will not be marked as complete until payment and/or book waiver paperwork is completed in the school office. What if I don't want to register my child using the online program?: Using the online program is the only way to register your child. How will I find out my Child's Schedule or Teacher: The PowerSchool Student/Parent Home Portal will open on August 8th. You will use your username and password from this past school year to log in. Username and Passwords will never change, so please save them in a secure place. Maple Parents: For Pre-K and Kindergarten Students, you will receive your new PowerSchool log in information in the mail by August 8th, so please make sure that you register your student by the above dates so that you can receive this information. Please save your log in information, you will need it for each school year. Student Physicals/Dental/Shots: Parents, just a reminder, 6th Graders and 9th Graders will all need Illinois State Physicals and proof of a Dental Exam. Please make sure that the shot portion of the Physical form is COMPLETE, showing all shots given since birth. 12th Graders will need proof of a Meningitis Shot. Proof of all Physicals, Shots and Dental Exams MUST be turned into your schools office no later than AUGUST12TH. THIS IS A STRICT DEADLINE AND VERY IMPORTANT! Maple School Students: Kindergarten students are required to supply a Birth Certificate, current Eye Exam, Dental Exam and the following Immunizations: DTP, HIB, Pneumococcal, Polio, HEP B, MMR and Varicella. 2nd Graders will also have to show proof of a Dental exam. All of these documents MUST be turned into the office no later than August 12TH. THIS IS A STRICT DEADLINE AND VERY IMPORTANT! Office hours have been set for Registration as stated above, so that families that need to pay fees by using cash, submit a Book Waiver or drop off/pick up forms are able to do so. This also allows parents/guardians with no internet access to come into the office and complete the online process. The online registration program takes Debit Cards, Credit Cards and Electronic Checks.
