Stop by the library as Nina Brown hosts a session of Lawyer in the Library! This initiative allows for free 20-minute meetings to assist you with legal coaching, document review, referrals to additional community services, and legal questions. Just bring any paperwork that relates to your legal matter. There are no fees or pre-registration, but time slots fill up fast as it is first-come, first-serve.⁠ You may sign up IN PERSON ONE HOUR before the first session begins.

Harrisburg District Library is offering Easybridge!® lessons as an introduction to this fun pastime. Lessons are for beginners of any age as well as those returning to bridge and party bridge. If you’ve ever played Pinochle, Hearts, Spades, Poker, or even War, you can play Bridge and you will be playing your very first time at the table! Bridge is proven to increase memory and concentration and develop improved judgement and logic for all ages. It also provides an opportunity to make new social connections and friends. You’ll have so much fun, you’ll forget it’s good for you. FREE LESSONS begin Wednesday, May 1st, 1:00-3:00PM at the Harrisburg District Library, 2 W Walnut, in the lower level conference room and will continue each Wednesday through July 17th. Cathy Hammersley and Janet Jones, a certified Easybridge!® instructor, will be guiding you through each lesson.
