SOLD OUT Get Your Business Rockin' Around the Holiday Trees   Description: Fresh evergreen trees, supplied by Platt Hill Nursery will be installed in the Old Town Park on the south end of the park around the center. Chamber businesses will have the opportunity to decorate the trees for a fee.  Trees will be up from November 20 to January 4, 2026.  This gives members the opportunity to advertise their business in a new area reaching new potential customers. To increase resident’s participation, a pickle will be hidden in the tree; whoever finds it first and posts about it wins a gift card. This ensures people are looking at all the trees in search of the pickle. The number of trees are limited. Pricing: Trees $200 All participating businesses donate a gift card valued $15 or more for the weekly drawing. Use a Chamber Member business to purchase your gift card, if your business does not offer them. Optional fee to take down your tree of $40. Dates: November 18-22 trees will be installed by the Park District and Village November 22-26: Decorate your designated tree – Trees must be complete by the Festival of Lights, Tree Lighting & Kriskringle Market on November 29th. November 30th – January 4, 2026 public votes for their favorite tree January 5-9, 2026: Take down decorations. Optional fee of $40 to have the Chamber take down your tree and return the decorations. Marketing Benefits: All participating businesses will be listed on the Chamber’s website and on BloomingdaleHolidays.com Signage at your tree, with a QR code link to your website. Exposure of your business to a new market of potential customers during the largest winter festival of the village. The whole park is lit up with holiday decorations and people will walk through the park.  The Park District also does horse and carriage rides around Old Town, and sets up photo opportunities. Chamber’s Social Media postings Facebook posting from those who like and vote for your tree, exposing your business to their family and friends. The event will be advertised through banners in community, press release, Chamber website, eblasts, social media, Village’s enewsletter and/or Almanac and through all participating businesses who share the information.   Details: Decorations are to be festive and holiday themed, not to be pollical in nature or depict or encourage violence. If the design is deemed offensive in nature it will be removed. Electricity is available, if you provide a 20’ extension cord - please label your cord. Lights must LED. Your tree will be identified by a sign with your logo and QR code linked to your website. The entire trees needs to be decorated, top to bottom and on all sides. Decorations are to weather resilient and firmly attached to prevent litter in the area. Best to use heavy duty twist ties for ease of removal. No filled ornaments that can break open and spills its contents. NO GLASS ornaments. If I see glass I will ask you to take it down. Businesses are responsible for decorating, and taking down the decorations by January 9, 2026. There is an optional take down fee of $40 if you do not want to take the decorations down yourself. Recovered decorations will be returned to you. The Chamber, Bloomingdale Park District and the Village of Bloomingdale are not responsible for any harm to the trees or decorations. Businesses are to supply all decorations and LED lights. The event will be marketed across platforms: social media, Daily Herald, Village, Chamber website, posters and flyers in participating businesses. Businesses are encouraged to promote their tree on social media and with their customers and followers.  Please use #BCCHolidayTrees2025.

Use this opportunity to market your holiday promotions! Description: You decorate a gingerbread house and display in your business.  The general public will be able to vote for the best decorated house by placing money in a voting box.  The money raised through voting will go to St. Isidore Church to support their programs for the homeless. The business who raises the most will help present the check to St. Isidore and be included in the press release.  The Chamber will help market the businesses to the general public to increase traffic. The public will receive a map to be stamped at each business.  Once the map is completed, the map can be submitted to be entered into a random draw raffle to win $200. NEW this year we are offering you the opportunity to display your house in the Chamber's Gingerbread Village for the Festival of Lights, Tree Lighting, Kris Kringle Market and Chamber Open House night on Saturday, Nov. 29th. This is optional and your house must be delivered by Nov. 18th to be included.  This night Old Town is full of hundreds and maybe thousands of people, lets build on the exposure and get your business in front of them. Businesses will also have the opportunity to include any items on the Chamber gift table.  Residents join us for our Open House for free refreshment and free gifts. You may then leave your house at the Chamber office, or take it back to your business.  Details: Businesses must commit by November 20th so maps can be printed and distributed in time! Houses should be displayed for voting from November 29th – January 5, 2026. Residents will pick up a Map at each participating business or may download from BloomingdaleHolidays.com website. They receive a stamp at each business, each stamp is an entry into the raffle. Complete the entire map and entries into the raffle are DOUBLED!  Businesses must return their voting box to the Chamber office by January 7th . The winning business will help present a check to St. Isidore Church.  $30 fee per business to participate to help cover the expenses & prizes.   Business creates their own gingerbread house. Kits are not included.  The Chamber will provide the voting boxes, the business is responsible for keeping the boxes safe from theft and returning the box. House(s) may be made by staff or contracted out to a professional The house does not have to be a house, it can be a store, barn, church, train, be creative. House(s) may be multiple smaller houses or one house All components of the house(s), except the base, must be made entirely of edible material. No wood, cardboard, wire or other non-edible material may be used on the construction or decorating of the house.  Only exceptions are candies which contain non-edible material such as a lollipop. Marketing across platforms: Social Media, Daily Herald, Village Enewsletter, Village Almanac, Eblasts, Posters, Community Banners & Flyers. Businesses may offer those following the Parade of Gingerbread Houses a special promotion for stopping by their business. At registration choose Special Promotion to highlight your business on the map. A website was set up for the Holiday Promotions with rules:  www.BloomingdaleHolidays.com  To kick of the parade, we are offering the first 5 who send in their map with 3 stamps, will receive a gift card. If you would like to donate a gift card you will receive additional recognition. If we have more than 5 donate gift cards, we can increase the incentive or add another for the first 6 stamps.
