The Kilroy Coffee Klatch was started by a handful of Veterans looking for a place to share coffee, donuts, and stories with other Veterans. Since then Kilroy has grown into the largest monthly gathering of Veterans in Idaho!  Our Kilroy Coffee Klatch meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. and is FREE to any and all veterans! The general public is also welcome regular admission charges will apply. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. No RSVP required. We hope you will join us! Sponsored by January 6, 2026:Details to come.   REMINDER!The Kilroy Coffee Klatch will be in the new Global War on Terror hangar! The parking lot closest to the GWOT building will be reserved for handicap parking. There will be a golf cart on hand to help shuttle people as needed. You can enter through the main door and walk down to the GWOT hangar, or use the side gate entrance marked on the map. Spring Break

$5 admission for students (including university and college students) from March 17-22! Visit us Tuesday–Saturday: 10am–5pm and Sunday: 11am–4pm. Tickets can be purchased at the gift shop desk. Minors should be accompanied by an adult.

There will be stations throughout the Museum for kids to learn to rivet, test their codebreaker skills, make a recruitment poster, start a victory garden, and experiment with electrical circuits. This led to a shortage of workers and an increased demand for laborers to fill their vacancies.  Millions of women across the country rolled up their sleeves and joined the workforce doing jobs stereotypically done by men. Women were also allowed to serve in the United States Armed Forces in an official capacity for the first time. Nicknamed “Rosies,” after the iconic Rosie the Riveter recruiting poster, women worked in any industry in need, including factories, shipyards, welding facilities, airplane hangars, and electronic workshops. They faced challenges such as hazardous working conditions, food rationing, finding childcare, and gender discrimination. Decades later we’re still inspired by their spirit and sacrifice.
