About 65 years after Fuller Jr. ended his apiary at Hills & Dales, Dick and Sydney Daniel and Zachary Taylor brought beehives back to the estate. In this workshop, Dick and Sydney will teach you the basics of beekeeping. Participants will be able to see an observation hive and even taste a little local honey. $45 per person. Pre-registration required by May 25. No refund for cancellations after May 26. Workshop fees include supplies and refreshments. Members may register for Spring workshops on January 2. Join us for Early Bird Breakfast, presented by Jackson Services on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Our featured guest is Bob Kosek, Division Director for Global Commerce, Georgia Department of Economic Development. Bob Kosek is the Division Director of Global Commerce at the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD). Bob joined GDEcD in April of 2021, as Director of the LEAF team and transitioned to lead the Industrial team in January of 2022. In 2014, Bob started his career in economic development at the Metro Atlanta Chamber. Following the chamber, Bob joined the team at Invest Atlanta, the City of Atlanta’s Development Authority, leading business recruitment activities and assisting with economic equity initiatives. Bob is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and is a proud alumnus of Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, sitting on their alumni board. This program is an energetic fusion of Australian music, culture, art, science, comedy, character building and audience participation.
