Finding Your Market Fit: Why customers buy and why they don’t The February Start Up Fayette program is serving up something special 🏓 We’re excited to welcome Barry Falcon, founder of Let’s Go Pickleball, who will share the story behind building one of the area’s most talked-about pickleball facilities. Barry will walk us through how he got started, how he turned an idea into a thriving franchise business, and how he applies the principles of Seth Godin’s Purple Cow philosophy to create remarkable customer experiences. After the talk, Barry will give us a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility—and yes, we’ll even hit the courts and play a little pickleball together. 🏓 Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a marketer, or just curious about what makes a business truly stand out, this is one event you won’t want to miss. Come one, come all—we’ll see you on the court! If you want to play pickleball after our meeting, please bring/wear appropriate shoes/clothing. We’ll supply the paddles and balls and of course some instruction. A signed waiver will be required.

Join us for an informative session on the PEACH Education Tax Credit! We are excited to announce that our Fayette County Public Schools system is participating in the Georgia Foundation for Public Education PEACH Education Tax Credit! Georgia's PEACH Education Tax Credit  – previously known as the Qualified Education Donation tax credit – offers an exciting opportunity to advance public education and foster excellence for students across Georgia.    Individuals and corporations can support Fayette County's K-12 public education students at no additional cost to them by securing a PEACH Education Tax Credit. Contributing to the PEACH Education Tax Credit provides taxpayers with a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Georgia state income taxes, meaning you are able to apply your tax dollars to support innovation in Fayette County Public Schools.    Individuals may designate funds for one of three categories: 1- leadership training for students  2- grants and continuing education scholarships for teachers in Fayette County Public Schools 3- where funds are most needed   For more specific information and to apply for the tax credit, click here. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].     Lunch will be provided.
