Discover how play can become a powerful tool for transformation and resilience in our daily lives with Tim McHenry, Curator of the Mandala Lab for Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art. Drawing directly from its collection of Himalayan art, the Rubin Museum has challenged visitors with profound questions about identity, mortality, and meaning. When confronting life’s biggest issues, it helps to approach them with humor or within the safe space of play.  Tim McHenry is curator of the Mandala Lab and has been presenting Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art audiences over the past twenty years with what the Huffington Post has called “some of the most original and inspired programs on the arts and consciousness in New York City.” McHenry initiated some of the early public conversations on neuroscience and contemplative practice in the context of his long-running series Brainwave.
