The Museumâs front lawn is blooming again. Shop locally grown plants from regional vendors and find everything you need to refresh your spring garden. Discover handcrafted goods from talented women makers, including unique gifts, home dĂŠcor, and garden-inspired finds you wonât see anywhere else. Support local growers and women-owned businesses while celebrating the season in full bloom and welcoming the arrival of spring. The market is free and open to the public. The event takes place on the Museumâs Free First Saturday, so the public is also welcome to enjoy the Museum at no cost. Vendors and Makers include: Arden Bardol Jewelry, Bead Creativity by Olia, Fleurish Felt Flower Co, Inga Flowers, Liberty Landscape Supply, Living Beauty Florals, NQR Candles, Olivia Gonzales Fine Art, Rooted at the Cummer, The Glass Cactus, and Wacca Pilatka. A focus will be placed on creating dynamic figures, demonstration and practice of gesture drawings, and intentional consideration of different levels of finish. Materials are not provided for this class. Bring your own materials to draw. Newsprint and charcoal are recommended for gesture drawing, but any drawing medium is acceptable for longer poses.
